Troost is a historically Black neighborhood in Kansas City. During the pandemic the non-profit Troost Market Collective wanted to make a resource that will allow people to explore the 56+ businesses along the Troost corridor. Explore Troost connects people to the businesses online and in real life.
The problem
There was no digital collection of business within this neighborhood which made it difficult for people to learn more about the local business before visiting them in person.

Businesses now have an outlet for discoverability and online sales during the COVID-19 pandemic
Provided an online presence for some business that had none beforehand
Troost Market Collective was able to direct it’s 4,500+ online followers towards this directory
